The main steps involved in the manufacture of fishmeal and fish oil are
- Fish reception and storage;
- Pressing of cooked fish
- Decanting of press water
- Centrifugation of decanted water to produce fish oil and stickwater;
- Evaporation of stickwater;
- Meal cooling;
- Grinding; and
- Storage and packaging of fishmeal and fish oil.
In addition to the above processing steps, cleaning of process equipment, containers, floors,
and all delivery vehicles will be carried out on a daily basis. The fish will be landed at fishing
ports along the Al Wusta and Al Sharqiya coast.
